• Compatible with All Interiors NOTE: An Aqara Zigbee 3.0 Hub is essential and sold separately. (Ensure both the Hub firmware and the Aqara Home App are updated). The Curtain Motor E1 can be effortlessly mounted onto your existing curtain track or rod without extra tools, remaining concealed behind the curtain, preserving your home’s decor style. (*NOTE: Track Version exclusively supports U- and I-Rails. I-rail minimum width ≥ 10mm, U-rail maximum slotting width ≤ 8mm. U-rail gliders lacking wheels aren’t supported.)
• Diverse Control Options After configuring the settings in the Aqara Home app, you can manage your curtains remotely or via voice commands using Siri, Alexa, or Google Assistant. Additionally, the integrated light sensor allows the Curtain Driver E1 to automatically adjust based on the ambient brightness. When it’s excessively bright outside, the curtains close automatically.
• Intelligent Home Automations The Aqara Curtain Motor E1 facilitates automated management of your existing curtains based on weather, time, lighting conditions, or triggers from other Aqara devices. You can establish a timer to create a personalised sleep-wake routine perfectly suited to your schedule. Automations via HomeKit, Alexa, Google Home, and IFTTT are supported.
• Robust Motor Thanks to its powerful motor, the maximum capacity of the Curtain Motor E1 can reach 12KG. You can opt for one or two motors per window. When installing two, they can be grouped to open the curtains simultaneously. Additionally, the motor speed can be adjusted to three levels, enabling quieter operation and gradual curtain opening for a more pleasant waking experience.
• Extended Battery Life A substantial 6000 mAh rechargeable battery can last up to a year without requiring a charge. (This estimated battery life is based on opening and closing a curtain on a 1.5-meter track (i.e., 2 curtain drivers per window) once daily, and it also depends on friction, curtain weight, and type.) Furthermore, the device can be charged via Type-C using a power bank or a power supply (both not included). Zigbee2MQTT and similar third-party USB dongles are not officially supported by Aqara, and full product functionality may be limited or unavailable.
